JLM's Legacy
About Us
JLM’s legacy is carried on through my children Lacey and Margo. It was a family dream of ours to own restaurant one day. Lacey created the Cajun seasoning, and Margo created the lemon pepper garlic. Lacey passed away in 2016 before she could see the dream come true. In 2018, Margo and I opened a food truck because it was the going trend at the time. In 2019, Margo passed away with kidney disease. Only one year after we opened the food truck, my brother (Vincent Thornton) and mother (Rev. Clara Gilbert Love), passed away. They both played a significant part in the process of this company. To God be the Glory for all things he has done. I opened the brick and mortar in March of 2024 and until this day I have carried on the dream of my children and family on my shoulders and in my heart. They are with me daily. God will see me through.
